Credit for Prior Learning
At Indiana Tech, we know that every organization is unique. Our partnerships are designed to be flexible and responsive to your needs. We’ve partnered with employers to deliver on-site classes directly to employees, create customized certificate programs and design coursework that is relevant to your industry.
We also offer generous credit for prior learning by evaluating your organization’s training and development programs for college credit. This recognizes the value of your corporate training and the expertise your employees already bring to the table, turning their real-world experience into meaningful progress toward a degree. By awarding credit where it’s earned, we help employees advance faster, saving them and your organization valuable time and money.
Let Indiana Tech help your organization create a learning experience that strengthens your workforce and maximizes your return on investment.

As an employer, we’re looking at how do we develop our leaders into becoming better leaders? How do we develop our technical workers and get them ready for emerging technology? And how do we take our shop floor workforce, give them opportunities for advancement, and also prepare them for emerging technologies? We rely heavily on our education partners for that.Travis Zimmerman
Participating in the Production Management Certificate program at Indiana Tech was a motivational experience. I am proud to work for a company that has given us this opportunity to continue our education—it’s huge! The company opened a window of time for us to do homework and go to class while we are at work. The classes have already impacted my work and motivated me to keep going to get my bachelor’s degree.

Having an employer that helped me accomplish something like this means a lot. Having classes during work hours is a huge, huge help—especially with kids and balancing everything at home. Completing the Production Management Certificate has inspired me to keep going and earn my associate’s degree.
Genard Ladner
Indiana Tech grad Genard Ladner began his educational journey at the urging of his employer. What started as motivation to earn a promotion quickly turned into a desire to become the first person in his family to earn a bachelor’s degree—and to raise the bar for his son’s future in the process.Devlon Tate
Honestly, when I started these classes, I didn’t think I’d get this far. The fact that I finished is an accomplishment and a great feeling. Continuing my education has had a big and positive impact on my work. I would not have done anything like this without the encouragement and motivation from my employer. I feel appreciated and am proud that my company has invested in my future like this.

After completing my degree, I plan on staying at Zimmer Biomet and moving into an engineering position. Working at Zimmer Biomet has showed me that I need the engineering degree in order to pursue my goals.
